John McGroder ripping at Elands Bay, South Africa. 1986

mcGroderTook a trip up the West Coast of South Africa, with some friends to surf the isolated left point of Elands bay. Its a dry Barren dry coastline with rocky bays and thick kelp covered rocks, long empty roads and few people. We surfed fun waves in cold water and relaxed in the sun on the empty beach where we brought lobsters from the locals for dinner. Great Experience.Elands Bay
